BENEFITS OF PLEASING GOD

The prayer was no sooner prayed than it was answered (Matthew 10 vs 1a)

In the ministry of Jesus, we could see that He got quick answers to His prayers. This was so because He pleased God.
Except on the cross where God was silent on Jesus because of our sins He bore upon Himself (see Isaiah 59:1-2), every other time Jesus called on God, God responded instantly. He lifted up the bread and gave thanks and then a miracle followed. He commanded demons out and instantly they left the bodies they had possess. He spoke a word and the diseased were healed. These are just few out of the many miracles Jesus did.
The reason why Jesus could command such results was not just because He was Jesus but because He pleased His father. Such powers and even greater are still available today to anyone who will please God and trust in Him (John 14:12-14).
